Holding Grief, Justice, and Care
We are heartbroken and outraged by the recent killing of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old woman fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.
We say her name. We grieve her loss. And we unequivocally condemn this violence.
This is not an isolated event—it’s part of a system that continues to harm and endanger historically marginalized communities. We stand in solidarity with all those demanding justice and accountability.
Take Care of Yourself & Each Other
Community trauma is real. If you’re feeling numb, overwhelmed, angry, or heavy—you’re not alone. Please care for yourself in the ways that are possible:
Rest and pause when you need to
Reach out to trusted people
Step away from the news
Check in on your neighbors
Small acts of connection matter. So does honoring your grief.
Need Space? Telehealth Is Available
If you're a current client and feeling unsettled or unsafe, we’re here for you. You're always welcome to move your sessions to telehealth. Just let us know—your safety, comfort, and care matter deeply to us.
We are holding Renee Nicole Good’s family, our clients, and our wider community close.
We remain committed to collective care, justice, and the healing power of community.
We will not forget.
We will not be silent.
We will keep showing up—for each other.
In solidarity,
