Who we are

Collaboration for Psychological Wellness is a values-driven mental health practice providing psychological assessment, individual therapy, and family therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. We are committed to offering thoughtful, inclusive, and culturally responsive care that honors each person's unique story, strengths, identities, and lived experiences.

Our team brings together clinicians with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and areas of expertise who share a deep commitment to compassionate, relationship-centered care. We believe healing is strengthened through connection, curiosity, and partnership, and we strive to create a place where every person feels welcomed, understood, and supported as they move toward greater psychological wellness.

No one clinician has all the answers, and we don't believe they should. One of the greatest strengths of our practice is our team. We learn from one another, consult with one another, and celebrate the different perspectives each clinician brings. That spirit of collaboration allows us to better support the individuals, families, and communities we serve.

The Therapeutic Relationship is everything!

We believe healing happens in relationship. One of the most powerful parts of therapy isn't a particular technique—it's the relationship you build with your therapist. Research consistently shows that this connection is one of the strongest predictors of meaningful change. That's why we place so much care into creating a space where you feel welcomed, safe, comfortable, and free to show up exactly as you are.

You can expect to be met with kindness, compassion, curiosity, validation, and respect. We won't tell you who to be or pretend to have all the answers. Instead, we'll work alongside you to better understand your experiences, recognize your strengths, and reconnect with the wisdom you already carry. Together, we'll gently explore patterns that may no longer be serving you and take small, manageable steps toward the changes that feel meaningful to you.

We also believe healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time. Don't be surprised if we laugh together. Humor can offer perspective, create moments of relief, and build resilience. Joy, playfulness, and lightness have an important place in the healing process, too.

Above all, we hope you'll experience what it feels like to be truly seen, heard, and understood. Our hope is that the safety and trust we build together in therapy become something you carry into your relationship with yourself and with the people who matter most to you.

Because at the heart of it all, healing is something we create together.

Culturally Responsive, Culturally Reflective, & Culturally Compassionate Care.

We are committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, inclusive, and affirming space where people of all identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences feel they belong. We celebrate the richness of our communities and welcome individuals of every race, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, ability, immigration status, religion, family structure, and life experience.

Our work is grounded in cultural humility, anti-racism, and affirming, trauma-informed care. We recognize that every person's story is shaped not only by individual experiences, but also by the families, communities, cultures, and systems they live within. We are committed to ongoing learning, reflection, and accountability so that we can continue showing up with curiosity, respect, and care.

We also recognize that conversations about mental health are shaped by culture, history, and lived experience. For many individuals and families, stigma has created barriers to seeking support. We hope to contribute to changing that through compassionate care, education, and advocacy that honors each person's strengths while working toward greater equity and justice in our communities.

Our Comittment to you.

While the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of positive change, we also know that different challenges often benefit from different therapeutic approaches. Our clinicians thoughtfully integrate evidence-based practices that are supported by research while always tailoring treatment to your unique strengths, values, culture, and goals. We believe therapy should never feel one-size-fits-all.

Our commitment to learning doesn't end after graduate school. Our clinicians are committed to ongoing professional development and regularly engage with current research, consultation, and continuing education to provide care that is thoughtful, effective, and responsive to emerging best practices. At the same time, we recognize the importance of knowing the limits of our expertise. If your needs extend beyond our scope of practice, we will gladly help connect you with trusted providers and resources that are the best fit for your care.

We also believe that quality mental health care should be as accessible and welcoming as possible. We strive to reduce barriers to treatment by offering both in-person and telehealth services in ways that are flexible, ethical, and respectful of your needs. Whether you meet with us in one of our warm, thoughtfully designed offices or from the comfort of your own space, we are committed to creating an experience that feels safe, private, comfortable, and centered on your well-being.
