Hi! I’m Jane Steckelberg, BA
She | Her | Hers
I am currently earning a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2027. I am currently training under the supervision of Dr. Bailey Dirth, PsyD, LP.
Previously, I worked as a Mental Health Practitioner, teaching adults new mental health skills and tools they can use to achieve their goals. I have also worked as a Counselor at an inpatient psychiatric treatment facility, where I helped adolescents learn new skills to navigate their mental health, school, identities, and home lives. I also have experience teaching an art therapy class to children and working as an independent living skills coach!
My favorite part of this work
My favorite part of this work is creating and fostering a therapeutic relationship with my clients, getting to know them and how they got here. I love incorporating humor, laughter, and creativity into my sessions with my clients, as I believe it can be very healing. I enjoy watching clients grow and feel empowered to take small steps towards their goals and the life they want to live.
