Jane Jonassen, BA Headshot, a counselor at Collaboration for Psychological Wellness

Hi! I’m Jane Jonassen, BA

She | Her | Hers

I am currently earning a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2027. I am currently training under the supervision of Dr. Bailey Dirth, PsyD, LP.

Previously, I worked as a Mental Health Practitioner, helping adults develop skills to manage their mental health symptoms and live their best lives! I have also worked as a Counselor at an inpatient Adolescent Treatment Facility where I helped adolescents navigate their mental health, school, identities, and home lives.

My favorite part of this work

My favorite part of this work is creating and fostering a therapeutic relationship with my clients, getting to know them and how they got here. I love incorporating humor, laughter, and creativity into my sessions with my clients, as I believe it can be very healing. I enjoy watching clients grow and feel empowered to take small steps towards their goals and the life they want to live.
