Bailey Dirth, PsyD Headshot - Counselor at Collaboration for Psych Wellness

I’m Bailey Dirth, PsyD, LP

She | Her | Hers

PsyD means I am a doctor of psychology and LP tells you I am a licensed psychologist. Growing a practice that is meaningful and congruent to who I am as a psychologist is reflected by my clients; I look forward to connecting with you!

My favorite part of this work

What I most love about being a therapist is establishing strong therapeutic relationships with my clients that are genuine, long-standing, and full of trust and vulnerability. I am grateful and honored to know such resilient humans and walk with them on their path through healing. Every day, every client, and every session keeps me on my toes and challenges me to be the best version of myself. I have learned about myself as a person, who I do the best work with, and the environment in which I thrive. As all of these come together I reflect on my time learning and growing working with tiny kiddos, teens facing addiction, and adults and couples in every stage of life. Each person has taught me something that I carry with me to inform my approach today.

As a therapist I hope to guide clients toward a values driven, meaningful lifestyle that leads to greater well-being and personal growth. My collaborative, client-centered approach allows for a supportive and healing therapeutic relationship that inspires motivation and positive change.

Speaking of my clients

I specialize in working with:

  • Teens who are struggling with relationships, high expectations, and coping with their emotions.

  • Couples who feel stuck, disconnected, and insecure in their relationship.

  • Young adults developing their identity, navigating independence, and finding their purpose.

  • Women facing disempowerment, self-criticism, and interpersonal trauma.

I have a special interest in:

  • Nervous system regulation and connecting the mind and body.

  • Healing attachment injuries and navigating relational challenges.

  • Building self-compassion, emotional awareness, and adaptive coping skills to strengthen client’s self-efficacy and increase self-awareness and understanding.

  • A holistic approach to care through psychoeducation on sleep hygiene, nutrition, self-care, and physical exercise.

I am passionate about:

  • Empowering my clients and working with those who are ready to stand up for themselves, set boundaries, and thrive as their best self.

  • Digging into the root cause of of suffering that is often unseen and misunderstood.

  • Acknowledging, respecting and supporting all aspects of a person’s identity regarding race, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, experiences, ideas, or beliefs to encourage the development of an individual. I work to identify and navigate barriers that create disparities and unequal opportunities to thrive.

On Personal Note

My own experiences have informed my drive to encourage others to get in tune with their mind and body, understand themselves on a deeper level, and foster healthy, growth-inspiring relationships with themselves and others. I am a dedicated dog mom, partner to my husband, and plant enthusiast. I spend my time reading (or listening to) crime thrillers, putzing around in my veggie garden, and rearranging/interior decorating our home. You might spot me at a new restaurant around the cities, at an outdoor concert, or perusing the local vintage markets.
